Run Setup once
Download BlurMap Setup on a Mac or PC, sign in with your Apple ID, plug in your iPhone and click Install.
Turn on LocalDevVPN
Install LocalDevVPN from the App Store and switch it on. It lets BlurMap reach your iPhone with the cable unplugged.

Do I need a computer?
Once, for about five minutes, to install BlurMap. Afterwards it can stay off. Every 7 days you tap Renew in the app, no computer needed.
Does it work on cellular data?
Yes, once it is connected. iPhone only lets BlurMap connect over Wi-Fi or in Airplane Mode, so without Wi-Fi: turn on Airplane Mode, open BlurMap until it connects, then turn Airplane Mode off. Cellular data works for as long as BlurMap stays open.
Do you see my location?
No. BlurMap sets your location on the phone itself; it is never sent to us. Read the privacy page for the details, including what map services can see.
Why is it not in the App Store?
Stores do not allow location changers. You install from this site instead, and it takes a couple of minutes.
Will apps notice?
We cannot promise that. Some services check for changed locations and may react. Use it responsibly and see our terms.
How do I cancel?
Open the billing portal from the app. You keep access until the paid period ends.
